Chapter 21

Carly stepped from her bedroom, her hands adjusting the straps of the wrap around sun dress she'd purchased the night before with David. He'd been so nice, taking her to the really nice places to shop. Even though she was pretty sure he had expected more than shopping or the easy kiss on the cheek she'd left him at the door with, he'd grinned and been the perfect gentleman. She'd known all along he was the best of the band.

Glancing up she noticed Geena sitting at a small table drinking a cup of coffee, but no Sabrina was in sight. It was deets time, she'd gotten in late and the other two had already been asleep.

"Morning G, Where's Bri?"

Geena smirked "Still in bed. She had a rough day yesterday."

Carly winced. "God don't tell me he turned out to be an ass and now shes all depressed."

Oh the contrary my friend he rocked her world. I think she's too sore to move," Geena giggled.

Her brow arched at Geena's giggle. "She didnt!"

"She did, over and over, if what I heard when I came in with Jon was any indication. "Geena’s brows waggled, her laughter growing at Carly’s embarrassed look.

Carly felt the blush rising as some of the words Bri wrote swam into her thoughts, the visual of those words right on its toes. Shaking her head she studied Geena her eyes getting wider, "YOU DID TOO!!"

"Did what? " Geena stared into her coffee cup avoiding her friend's questioning glare.

She started to laugh as she walked over to Geena, her hand moving up to tap her neck. "You gave it up to Bon Jovi! Was it as good as you thought?"

Geena groaned she had completely forgotten about her neck "Fuck, I forgot about his vampire attack and to answer your question miss inquisitve more so. He is far better than any fiction written out there "

Her hands went to her hips. "Well sore or not, we won't have another chance like this. She's just gotta drag her ass outta that bed." Walking over to the door she started to pound on the wood.

"Up and at them sleeping beauty. It's time for breakfast."

A low forlorn voice echoed from behind the door. "Go away!"

Carly drew herself up straight. "No way! Hawaii is out there and muscles or no, you're gonna enjoy it!"

Bri huffed and curled into a tighter ball. "I'm staying right here!"

She had aches in places that had never ached before. Couldn't they get that? God not that he had been rough or anything of the sort, but the man was gifted, and rather rambunctious. She couldn't move, let alone go walking about willy nilly. Hell to think of it she was glad she got her shopping done last night because now? She wasn't moving til time for the concert. If I can even move then.

When the knocking started up again she whined. "Lemme be, pretty pretty please?"

Carly glanced back at Geena, "What did he do beat her?" Her face blanched of all color as that thought hit her. She'd had enough issues with the dickhead ex that wouldn't sign the divorce papers. "Oh God tell me he wasn't rough with her?" She hissed the question towards Geena as her hand kept rapping on the door.

"Carly really he wasn't anything like fuckhead , he just gave her a good time . I mean come on, who ARE we talking about here? He is the moose after all. Think about it."

"We gotta get her outta there. Shit Geena, walking it off would help."

Bri growled. They weren't bein too quiet with the chat, she could hear the conversation through the freaking door for god sakes. Walking wouldnt help anything. She felt like her back had been bent backwards. Come to think of it, she HAD bent into all sorts of wild positions. She couldn’t stop the half smile as the memories washed through her. "Just gooooo please?"

Geena sat her cup down and joined Carly. "C'mon Bri, a nice hot shower will do you wonders."

"NO!"

"No, C'mon if you don't get moving you aint making it to whatever goodies Jon said we are getting. Although I had my goodies yesterday, which you won't hear about if you don't get outta that bed!" Geena snorted through her laughter as she remembered her goodies, man, she could do with more of that.

"SO DID I!" She yelled through the door, her exasperation starting to rise. All she wanted to do was lay here with her aches and remember what caused them. She pulled the covers tighter around her. Gutter girl or not, they'd eventually give up. All she had to do was wait them out.
