Chapter 106

Bri returned the hug, her gaze moving to David catching a hungry look that rivaled Richie’s most nights. "I think your turn might come sooner than ya think."

Carly felt the heat rising in her cheeks as she turned to glance at David. "Maybe."

Geena chuckled "You might catch the bouquet oh wait we don’t have anything but we do have the garters. It’s a double whammy he has to catch one at least."

Richie leaned in to Geena and grinned, "I plan on zinging hers at his head."

Geena snorted and held back the laugh. "Good spot, then he can't pretend he didn't see it."

Jon knelt in front of his wife, his hands sliding up under her skirt slowly until his fingers found the object he wanted. Slowly sliding it down and over her foot he stood twirling the garter on his index finger, a slight grin on his face. With a quick step to the right he quickly stretched it and put it around David's forehead. "Make damn sure he catches the thing."

Geena burst out laughing. "That's a good look for you Joker."

Richie followed suit; his hand sliding briefly over her ankle up to her knee. Lifting his wife's leg he grinned as the tip of her toe settled on his knee. My wife, I like the sound of that. Tilting his head, he watched her eyes glaze over as his hand slowly glided up to her thigh, and then a bit beyond before moving back to snag the light purple garter. Sliding it down and over her high heeled shoe he chuckled. Even that brief contact had her pulse racing. Placing her foot back on the floor he stood. “Grab him man.” Teek held one of David’s arms behind him and Jon held the other out to Richie. Richie winked as he twisted the lacy purple around David’s wrist. With a sudden move he had Carly’s hand and tugged it close, and fitted the final circlet around her wrist. He started to sing slightly offkey. "Carly and David sitting in Tree K- I -S –S – I – N – G. First comes love, Then comes marriage . Next comes David pushing a baby carriage. "

David leaned into Carly with the teasing and breathed out on a kiss. "At least she’s got the right job. Fuck it might be contagious you know."

Carly blushed from her head to her toes. " I get a ring first—maybe, " she stuttered after the mind blowing kiss.

He pressed a kiss to her cute button nose and laughed. "Well of course. We aren’t crazy kids like those two. We'll do it up right Ketsl. You'll see."

Bri's eyes widened at the pet name. They were that far into things and had barely seen each other? Boy did the they need a girl’s day out to compare all the what had happeneds.

Richie pulled Bri into his arms, his gaze moving over each person. "We gonna stand here all day or we gonna celebrate before we head to Denver? Non-alcoholic of course." His head tilted as he pressed a kiss to the top of her head. “Got all I need right here to get high on.”

Jon tugged Geena back into his arms and started for the door. "A non alcoholic and non spicy celebration for the Jovi crew. " He laughed as everyone filed out with him, David, Teek, and Carly splitting off for their own car as Richie and his new bride climbed back into theirs. "Remind me again why I agreed to a town every other day?"

“Cuz you're a workaholic that's why? And to think I thought it would be so cool to travel like this," Geena snickered.

He pulled her into his lap and laughed, "Always sounds more fun than it is, but I have to admit, for now this tour is looking up."

"You are looking mighty handsome there Mr. Bongiovi," Geena purred as she started playing with the buttons of his shirt.

His lips slid along her neck before biting down gently. "You’re not bad yourself Mrs. Bongiovi."

Geena chuckled. "Now that’s two words I never thought I'd hear applied to me, other than in my dreams of course."

He chuckled quietly, "I’m in the business of making dreams come true." He lost himself in her softness, his hands sliding over the pristine white of her dress. "My own especially, and that involves this being gone." He tugged mischievously at the dress, as if to take it off, only to be rewarded with her squeal. "Well I didn’t mean here baby. Can't have the other two jealous of me."

"That’s not cool to tease like that; I might have to tell Carly on you." Geena grinned wickedly as her hands slid down his shirt , flicking a nipple. "They say pregnant women get very, very, horny . Care to test that theory?"

He snorted as his eyes traveled to the pair on the other seat. "Well baby, I shared a lot of rooms with my bro in the 80’s and I saw a lot of things, so did he for that matter, but seriously, do you WANT an audience?"

Geena glanced over her shoulder. "Like they’d notice? They seem pretty lost in each other.” She winked and continued, “I suppose I have to wait for Denver. When we leaving Vegas?”

His hand slid along her thigh under the dress as he smiled. "We eat then hit the bus baby, and yes Carly's riding along to Denver. You can see her some then but while I'm on stage, before that we're busy."

"Already giving orders huh ? " Geena purred in his ear, her lips tugging slightly on his ear lobe.

"It's what I do."

"To your wife too?

"Only when she lets me baby, only when she lets me."

"Good Answer. You might get a hell of a reward for that."

"No doubt about that." He paused and closed his eyes a moment as thoughts swirled in his mind. "Ya know I just want you to know, that I didn't do this because I had to. Yeah ya shocked the shit outta me. Fuck, at my age I wasn't seeing any more babies ya know. But the more time passes, the more it feels right. Don't want you thinking today of all days, that it was a have to kind of thing."

"To be honest I did feel that way; I almost wanted to back out. But I just couldn't, I love you too damn much to give up. I just figured I could love enough for the both of us," Geena admitted as she blinked back the unshed tears. “And -- if you want me to sign one of those pre-nup things I will gladly do it."

"Funny thing about those, they have to be signed before the wedding license babe. Not planning on leaving me already though are ya?"

"No, never. You gotta give me the boot. But seriously if you want me to sign whatever, I will. Because it ain’t your money I'm wantin'."

Her answer satisfied him, he'd known all along she was like Bri in that regard. "No worries baby. Never was any."

"Just wanted you to know because I do know how hard it is for you to trust ." Geena sat up and gazed into his eyes as her palm cupped his face. "You are the most important person in my life . You are my family, the only one I have. I will treasure that forever."

"Geee, see what happens when a man gets involved? Ya get kicked to the curb." Bri's grin widened as she batted her eyes Geena's way. "Always knew a man would replace me."

Geena broke away from Jon's gaze to glance back. "Baby, you know you’ll always be my girl. We are like separated at birth kinda thing "

Bri laughed and snuggled into Richie's side. "Oh I know, just had to say."

Geena winked, "Hell you know he can fulfill certain needs you can't.” She laughed at Bri’s fake gagging sounds and changed the subject. “You think Carly will go for the touchdown without the ring? She was looking pretty flushed there and I don't think it was from embarrassment either."

Her brow cocked up as Richie muttered something about if David had his way she would. Elbowing him she laughed, "She's more stubborn than him babe."

"They don't know the Joker that well do they Kidd?" Richie chuckled. "You think we’re charmers? You ain't seen nothin' until you see David trying to get his way."

Jon glanced at his best friend and laughed. "Yeah, he was more popular than you at that."

Geena shot Bri a look and burst out laughing. "So that book is true."

Jon muttered slightly, "If you're talking about that piece of...." he paused a moment and reigned back the ire, "artistic license Francis wrote? Well yeah he got SOME of it right."

Geena looked at Bri who looked at Richie and both girls bit back their laughter. "If it wasn't true why didn't ya do something about it? I know Bri and I had a few eye brow raising moments reading it. NO we didn't buy it before you get all worked up, but it’s on the net very accessible and of course we were nosey. Right Bri?"

She felt the blush rising, "Well yeah, had to see how naughty he could be, a writer has to do her research after all."

Richie growled, "He had no business printing that shit. "

Her head tilted, "Embarrassed? Let’s see over the bathroom skylight vids? I bet you a dollar you still have it somewhere." She leaned in closer, "Or maybe you're just pissed he made the Joker out to be a bigger slut puppy."

“No we ain't embarrassed, just a lot of untruths in that book."

Her brow flicked up, disbelief evident in her posture. "Before you say another word Richard Stephen; remember, I understand it was 25 odd years ago. I know you were young and riding the damned Slippery High. So before you decide to LIE to me, remember what lying might get ya on your wedding night."

“Never said it was all untrue," Richie admitted, " Just some." He nuzzled her neck as he murmured, "how the hell we get on this topic anyway? "

Her head nodded at Jon. "His fault."

"My fault? I didn't bring his name up," Jon said defensively.

"Before you even dare to say it’s my fault…. " Geena’s tone was a warning whisper.

Before it all went downhill she leaned in to Richie, "But it fueled so many fantasies lover."
